We all cried when Rose and the Doctor were separated from each other I like this one, because we've all had relationships that feel like the. The Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler have been reunited in new audio adventures. These stories have made their relationship even better. The Doctor trusts her to go her own way to find Jackie in a teleport station while he did. Rose Tyler brought the Doctor back from the brink of the Time War, teaching him how .. Clara, her relationship with the Doctor isn't exactly as romantic as Rose's so was seeking her, and that she didn't have much of a reason to trust him.
How could she be here? The last time he saw Rose Tyler, actually properly saw her, was when he dropped her off in the parallel world, with his meta-crisis. Snapping his attention to the here and now, the Doctor said, "The only place in Florida, probably the only place in all of America where those three streets are on the same junction.
If it was any normal day of running into this woman, he may have flirted a bit, but not this day. Not when he'd been first shaken by seeing a recording of Rose Tyler in the TARDIS he knew that he could explain that one away, somehow but to have her show up in Florida,of all places scared him. He knew he'd never brought her here. So how on earth did she get there? River tried not to look hurt. She was getting used to seeing a version of the Doctor who knew less about her the more she knew him; but each time she ran into a younger Doctor, it still hurt.
Who was that woman? It seemed like he never did. He'd never told her about the woman in the hologram — the one he acted like was a ghost. And it hurt that all that the other woman had to do was say 'trust me'.
She could never do that with any version of the Doctor. He never even bought himself to tell her his name. She shook her head, and pushed past him. She stopped and looked into his sad green eyes. She continued passed him, trying to hold in her tears, feeling hurt and betrayed. The Doctor looked down and then back up into her gaze.
He knew that she was only barely holding it together. The Doctor was good at that. And River, she knew that if she confronted the Doctor again so soon after him snapping at her, she would lose what semblance of control she had. Neither really knew what it would take for them to get back to the flirting — goodness, how River missed that, their friendly banter, and the underlining tension that was present every time she met a younger version of her beloved husband.
It was a good thing that they had three months apart to really think about what they wanted from their mixed up, opposite direction, relationship. The Doctor tried hard to forget what he'd seen in Florida. All the Doctor + Companion Kisses (2005 - 2012)
Especially with what he knew to be the truth: River was his future, and Rose Tyler, the Bad Wolf, was his past. And after three months of not doing anything pure torture in a Time Lord's mind he had sorted through his confusing feelings for River and tried to put his past behind him. And once they went to rescue Amy, the two of them fell back into the rhythm of teasing and flirting with each other. The Doctor was glad of that. What was unexpected though was when he was dropping River off at Storm Cage.
Whatever had affected her mood back in Florida had all but gone, and she snogged him. Properly, fully snogged him. You act as though we haven't done that before.
Again, she got a sinking feeling in her heart. If he hadn't ever kissed her before, then she had just claimed her last kiss from him. He saw in her eyes the pain of his apparent lack of recognition and was fully going to make an excuse to walk away. And then he did something unexpected; he leaned in and pressed his forehead against hers. I want this with you.
Of course you'll have this with me. But I won't have it with you.

Using Rose's image, chosen for her future significance to the Doctor, the Moment attempts to persuade him to seek an alternative course of action by showing him how the decision will affect his future. Rose mentions this visit to the planet Justicia in the first series television episode "Boom Town" which aired 4 June Her relationship with a school friend, Keisha, is also explored; Rose is irritated to find out she and Mickey have become involved in her absence.
In order to arouse enough jealousy to defeat this creature the Tenth Doctor feigns a romance with Rose's mother and sets up Mickey with a group of actors who pose as beautiful amazonian girlfriends.
His desire to make the show "essentially British" was another justification: In Marchshe claimed that she would continue on Doctor Who into its third series in Earth Defenceset in her parallel universe and to air as a bank holiday special, but Davies deemed the concept "a spin-off too far" after Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
He stated that the character of Rose helped secure the return of the show by allowing "an audience who would not naturally have watched Doctor Who" to become invested in the show.
I wanted something to happen in life, I wanted a bit more. I wanted to find someone who could challenge my ideas. So I definitely tapped into that. Orthia observes that Rose, like the other companions in Davies' era of Doctor Who, is "drawn from a cosmopolitan vision " in her case because of her class background. Orthia contends that whilst working-class companions had featured previously in the show "none were unskilled workers nor chronically under- or unemployed like Rose, Jackie and Donna".
She felt that Rose as a character could be both "strong-willed and vulnerable" and ventured that her emotional response made her more interesting than "a female character endlessly striving towards perfection". Rose Tyler is no damsel in distress and reminds fans why The Doctor chose her as a companion. When Rose breaks down the truth about their alien hunting mission, Chevalier barely flinches at the revelation.
It is as close to having two Doctors in the same story as Big Finish can get. The Doctor showcases his fencing skills alongside the Chevalier in an epic battle which translates well in audio format. The only downside of the story is the hasty ending, which allowed The Doctor to clean up the mess too easily and made the villain weaker because of their loophole laden moral code.
The villain had the menacing, pure evil shtick down but the explanation of their motivations fell short. Despite the humor and action, there were deeper themes in the story. The use of humans as a commodities infuriated The Doctor, who noted the irony of alien slave traders during this era when it was prominent. The separation makes for epic moments when they are together.
It could have been a major misstep for Big Finish, but they handled the gender conversation brilliantly. The story features a woman name Lorna, who collects recycling on the satellite location Cold Star where the Ice Warriors have been sleeping under ice for years.
The room quickly gets crowded with a management robot, Lorna, and Brona, who is a part of a space pirate duo with her son.
The Doctor has one mission — to swiftly get as far away from Ice Warriors as possible. Rose hopes The Doctor will appear but she is determined to not give up, declaring a Tyler never lies down when they are beaten. The Ice Warriors honcho has no interest in listening to reason due to blind fury, which The Doctor reacts to by begging for a chance for everyone to walk away from this situation.
It shows how Ten and Rose are starting to get more inflated egos, thinking they know more about the situation as outsiders than Lorna as a native. During a showdown with the Ice Warrior leader, Lorna tries to interject with new information, but she keeps getting cut off by The Doctor.
He calls the Ice Warrior a coward, and stands up for Enyo. It turns out she knew the history behind the war and as well as the results. Even with this knowledge, Rose stubbornly defended the people on Enyo until she saw video proof of their bloody history.
The Tenth Doctor has a known affinity for humans, but he changed his tune this time.
